Job Description

The .Net Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of applications throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Contributes as a member of the Development Team throughout each phase of the software development lifecycle, including contributing to technical proof of concepts, assisting in designs, implementing of systems according to standards, and creating automated tests.
The incumbent works under close supervision on technical tasks of high complexity of medium to large scale utilizing pre-established standards and best practices

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops high quality code that has minimal interruption to the production environment and helps meets project deadlines

• Documents and contributes to solution designs in a team setting and seeks feedback from the team during design sessions

• Communicates regularly on the progress of work products and deliverables to management and other members of the team during the daily standup and design sessions

• Participates in peer review sessions and leads by example on how to critique technical deliverables

• Documents technology standards and best practices and ensures adherence to these standards

• Conducts analysis of application and database performance, reviews log files, troubleshoots, and monitors applications in partnership with the application support team

• Assists with implementing reliable automated test cases in order to ensure application quality and stability in partnership with Quality Engineers

• Assists with the responsibilities of other team members as business needs change including that of a quality assurance professional or product analyst.

• Development using AngularJS, Angular

• Backend Development (API's, controllers, business logic, data layer) using .NET C#, Entity Framework, SQL

• User Interface Development using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and JavaScript

Responsibilities:

•Coursework in computer science and/or professional certification in related technology

•3-5 years of direct work-related experience

Knowledge and Skills

•Demonstrates strong critical thinking abilities

•Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills

•Demonstrates excellent customer service skills

•Possesses and applies broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the field of specialization to the completion of assignments

•Demonstrates strong continuous software development capabilities

•Strong knowledge of modern enterprise grade programming application languages, open source stacks, and/or UI best practices)

•Strong knowledge of modern operating systems

•Strong knowledge of modern database languages

• Experience with .NET C# Development

• Must have solid experience with AngularJS, Angular Framework

• Proficiency developing front end using HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3, and JavaScript

• Experience with 'Agile' Development
