Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Primary:

Support day-to-day operations of user workstations and infrastructure through our ticketing system

Roll-out of a new phone system (VoIP), including the provisioning and routing of 70+ phones

Maintain and troubleshoot Dell and Client Server; both Windows and Linux

Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network Switches and Access Points

Secondary:

Firewall Support

Provide new user IT training

Create procedural and system documentation

Scripting for system changes and software rollouts

Secondary support for AutoCAD and Adobe products


Required personal skills
:

Ability to explain technical terminology in a clear and basic language

Established method of retaining information when provided

Self-Managing and strong multitasking abilities required

Ability to educate and lead others

Great self-reliant problem solving

Must be a people person

Required Technical Skills:

Jack of all trades in IT: Server management, Desktop management, Network planning, and user support, etc

2-4 years as a support technician with Active Directory, GPO, and Server support experience

Basic understanding of VLANs and Networking Devices

Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare), CAD, Adobe Creative Cloud experience/knowledge a Plus
