Our Client is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.
The Firm's employees serve clients worldwide including corporations, governments & individuals from more than 1,200 offices in 43 countries.
They are currently looking to add a senior project manager to run point on their Windows 10 upgrade.
Windows 7 is end of life in January 2020 and the bank needs to be upgraded globally to provide a stable and fully supported desktop environment.
The Program aims to migrate all Business Units from Windows 7 to Windows 10 before January 2020.
The Position A leading Investment bank has an exciting opportunity for a North America Windows 10 Program Lead.
This is a pivotal role for the Windows 10 Program and we are looking to recruit for a senior person who will be responsible for all elements of the Program in North America and is able to adapt throughout the life cycle to meet the needs of this large Program.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop trusted relationships with the senior management team in the region
Act as the primary escalation and senior contact point for the Windows 10 Program in North America
Recruit, develop and manage the North American Program team for Migrations
On board, set up, manage, provide direction and support to the North American deployment vendors
Provide the Windows 10 Program Manager with all relevant Program updates
Liaise with global counterparts to ensure consistency and success across the ProgramKey
Skills Required:
Skilled in building and managing strong and effective multi discipline teams
Ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders across geographical & functional boundaries
Any successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of leading technology projects/programs and understand the complexities and issues that result from such initiatives
This role requires an individual with strong communication skills. The successful candidate will need to be able to clearly articulate objectives, requirements and risks & issues
Must be able to effectively communicate in both business and technical contexts
Innovative thinker and problem solver
The ideal candidate needs to 5-7 years experience
Prior experience working in financial services or consulting firm required
