PRODUCT SUPPORT ENGINEER Allen/Richardson, TX Base + Profit Sharing We are hiring an Embedded Product Support Engineer who will debug and fix field defects and add additional features for continued product growth. The Product Support Engineer will be focused on the embedded software updates released for the customers' hardware/devices. What You'll Do: Support debugging of field issues. Analyze and make appropriate code changes in C or C++ for multi-threaded real time systems using embedded Linux Use Jenkins-Robot framework automated test environment and Python scripts to test stability of code changes. Maintain Confluence pages to track smoke, sanity, and soak test results for each build Perform root cause analysis on field issues to recreate and debug issues. Document and update JIRA tickets on method and outcome. Work closely with technical support and SVT teams. Skills/Experience You'll Need: 7+ years of experience to review and analyze and modify existing embedded firmware code in C and C++ 3+ years of experience with embedded Linux and Linux Kernel. 3+ years of experience with micro-controllers and bare metal environments 3+ years of experience working with hardware engineers Must have experience working and debugging device drivers Prefer candidates with Robot test automation framework and using Jenkins to build test harnesses.
