IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
DALLAS, TX
POSITION:
ICS is working with a client in the Dallas area who is hiring an IT Support Technician for a contract to hire position.
The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to desktop support, system administration duties, hardware troubleshooting, etc.
The IT Support Technician will be part of a growing team and provide support to 200+ employees, both in-person and remote.
They are looking for candidates who are self-starters and team players!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enterprise support for Windows / Microsoft environment, including direct interaction with end users
Performs first and second level support for the computing environment, including desktop, peripherals, network, wireless, networked devices, and IP telephones
Resets user passwords and unlocks accounts
Provisions physical access for employees and designated contractors
Analyzes, troubleshoots, and maintains computer systems and related hardware
Makes recommendations for improving our desktop and audio-visual environments
Performs first and second level support for our audio-visual environment, ensuring that rooms and equipment are maintained and functioning properly
Excellent communication skills
Maintain high level of customer service through professionalism, timeliness, organizational skills and follow-through
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of recent experience supporting MS Windows
Detail orientation, organization, and ability to multi-task
Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Science or Information Technology concentration is preferred
