Job Description
Essential Job Duties:
• Design, implement, manage and support the following:
o switches and routers (Cisco)
o firewalls (Checkpoint)
o proxies (Bluecoat)
o load-balancers and WAF (F5)
o VPN appliances (Pulse Secure & F5),
o authentication servers (RSA SecurID, Cisco Client, Cisco Client)
o SSL / PKI
o wireless networking (Cisco WLC)
o DNS, DHCP, IPAM
o Network monitoring probes and packet analysis
o connections to external entities, including connections to the Internet, market data providers, business partners, vendors, and other divisions
• Create and maintain written documentation and diagrams for all products and networks
• Manage projects, including project definition, project plan development, resource allocation, and debriefing
• Provide support off-hours and remotely (i.e. from home) when needed
• Serve as the final escalation point for IT Operations and Service Desk for network-related issues
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
• 10+ years of experience supporting computer networks in a mission-critical environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting real-time market data and trading
• Certification and/or training with vendor-neutral or vendor-specific focus
• Basic understanding of operating system administration (Windows and Linux)
