Job Description
Systems Administrator Analyst
Our client is expanding their IT team and looking for a Systems DBA Analyst .
Will assist in the designing and maintaining their databases and support of the growing technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Upgrade, monitor, support, administer and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL servers and databases.
Monitor server deployments to ensure uptime and performance.
Assist in the development and deployment of security policies and standards.
Help the design of data warehouse that can support high volume users across different locations at optimal level.
Ability to orchestrate mass network changes through a combination of industry tools and scripting.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve reported issues ensuring timely resolution and end-user satisfaction
Continually improve database administration standards, guidelines, and procedures
Communicate, coordinate, and support various teams for IT projects
Understanding of cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
Storng understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and related systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent experience
Strong technical background in windows system environment, hands on with microsoft servers
Experience with Microsoft SQL Database Administration
Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot problems in Windows Servers, Databases,
Networks, Firewalls, and Applications
Understanding of Azure and cloud environments
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly
Strong analytic, problem solving, issue resolution and facilitation skills.
