Job Description
Informatica Database engineer
6+ month contracting or 6-month temp to perm
Informatica Database engineer is required to work in the IT team that supports the Risk Management department responsible for monitoring, measuring and communicating risks generated by Our client's business lines
Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of Data Warehouses, planning applications and reporting solutions
- Design and implement Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes, programs and scripts
- Gather requirements and create system and user documentation
- Develop solutions to leverage ETL tools and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production problems and data issues
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in analyzing customer needs, document requirements, and design technical solutions
- Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and perform data testing and validation
- Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues
Skills Required:
- 3+ years experience including data analysis, data integration, dimensional modeling, database design and development
- Advanced SQL skills are a must
- Strong relational database knowledge.
