Our Client is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.
The Firm’s employees serve clients worldwide including corporations, governments & individuals from more than 1,200 offices in 43 countries.
The Regulatory reporting group is looking to add a senior QA resource to their team.
The Test Analyst role within Regulatory Reporting will serve as a subject matter expert on Regulatory reporting for CFTC including Asset class knowledge for Rates, Commodities, Equities, FX & Credit and experience of testing with Global regulators and regulations reporting to the GTR QA Manager based in LN.
Working on multiple projects simultaneously that will require: requirements gathering by working closely with Operations and Development Teams, test planning and test execution.
Being the point person for Operations and QA for testing New Requirements.
Responsible for creation, execution and maintenance of Test Requirements, Test plans,
Test Cases in the Test Repository
ALM and Jira updates.
Responsible for creating testing requirements from the regulations.
Drive changes in test processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
Excellent communications skills to report status and progress updates to Senior
Management in QAPM, Development/ Operations teams as required.
Participate in Quality Assurance best practices and contribute to process improvements
throughout all of GTR as required.
Desired Skills:
Regulatory Reporting (CFTC) knowledge with working in the Financial Industry.
Excellent test analysis skills (Ideally - ISEB Software Tester or equivalent)
Experience with the Linux, SQL & DB2
Familiar with Backend Testing Solutions using Python / Perl / JS / Java / Saturn
Exposure to BDD (JBehave / Cucumber/ Fitness / Concordion) - Concordion & Saturn are
currently in use in this area
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently in a fast paced environment
Strong troubleshooting skills
