IT BUSINESS ANALYST
PLANO, TX
POSITION:
ICS is working with a client who provides innovative technology solutions to its Retail industry customers globally.
They are growing their Technology team in Plano, TX and looking for a Business Analyst!
The ideal candidate will have experience working closely through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle and be a strong communicator with team members across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Product Manager to understand needs of the target market and to construct the product roadmap, and to support the communication of the product strategy to the rest of the company.
Specify detailed business process requirements for planned product releases, typically in the form of 'user stories' captured and managed within the JIRA system.
Work closely with User Experience team to develop, demonstrate, and evaluate UI prototypes
Work closely with product developers and with QA testers to ensure the product feature requirements are clearly understood, the work products are properly designed and constructed, and all the product requirements are thoroughly and completely verified by rigorous integration and system testing.
Participate in reviews of Sales proposals and solution designs developed by the Sales,
Channel Management, and Solution Delivery teams, assessing whether current and near-term product releases can satisfy the discovered and specified customer solution requirements and 'use cases'.
Facilitate teams to develop, test, and assess the written work products and artifacts created for each product release, ensuring these materials are sufficient for use by the company's and partners' solution design, delivery, training, operations, and support processes.
Work closely with the company's Marketing team to support conference and exhibit demonstrations of the product and its solution capabilities and potentials for the target market.
Participate in industry conferences, partner- and customer-facing meetings as a product expert.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst roles within the software development lifecycle
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, or Sciences is preferred
Strong communications skills
Ability to represent products at a professional level
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, agile environment
Ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to contribute to multiple concurrent projects
Experience working closely within SDLC processes, along with teams of developers, QA testers, and documentation specialists.
