Software Engineer Backend, Microservices, SaaS

Minneapolis, MN

Full Time Hire: $100,000 - $130,000 DOQ

Our direct and long term client is looking to expand their product engineering division.

This global SaaS product / platform was just redone this year brand new, with existing and new clients utilizing it every week! They are the leader in their industry with over 10,000 customers globally and growing, there is no stopping them!

The new core platform is a micro services architecture with multiple web/mobile applications built on top.

They do incorporate open source and third party libraries/frameworks such as Eureka (service discovery), MongoDB(NoSQL), Elastic Search(search), Pivotal Cloud Foundry (cloud native), Microsoft Azure (cloud service platform) and many more.

You will be involved in building Java-based, micro-service driven applications.

Looking for experience with:

Micro services technologies using Java & Spring Boot

Deep understanding of a micro services architecture, including professional experience in the design, build, and operations of micro services in a production environment

REST APIs and implementing RESTful web services

Experience in designing data persistence system using NoSQL DBMS (MongoDB)

Exposure to: Java, IntelliJ, Jenkins, REST, Groovy, Elastic, MongoDB, RabbitMQ

Experience with unit testing tools like Junit, Mockito, Spock

Familiar with architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, distributed architecture, 12 factor apps)
