Job Description

The Senior .Net Developer develops and supports web and windows business solutions.

The purpose of the role is to develop business software solutions for complex and large-scale projects through design, programming, quality assurance, and implementation support.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Design includes participating in defining and interpreting feature requests, documenting those requests in functional specifications, and designing specific product and features for stability, usability, and maintainability

Collaborate with business teams to clarify requirements and business needs.

Develop system applications to coding standards and quality.

Collaborate with other developers to determine the optimal solution architecture to ensure application efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.

Collaborate with business teams to develop high-level system narratives, storyboards, and user interface prototypes.

Complete projects/tasks on a timely basis, according to commitments made to stakeholders and management.

Proactively update stakeholders and maintain open and courteous communication.

Be a part of an Agile Scrum self-driven team environment by participating in iterative and incremental software delivery model.

Testing responsibilities include both unit testing as well as providing additional guidance and support to the certification group

Support includes maintaining the existing code base and providing assistance to the support group.

Requirements

5+ years of experience working with .Net framework developing enterprise N-tier web applications

Solid experience working with relational databases

Solid experience in Agile software development working with multiple teams

Strong proficiency to produce quality, testable, reusable, and maintainable code using
Object Oriented programming standards

Proven experience in using software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with team

Strong skills in problem solving and debugging

Experience mentoring and leading junior developers

Experience working with Product Owner and LOBs
