Job Description

Seeking an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for maintaining correct accounting standards, enforcing company policies, and maintaining good business partnership with the accounting staff and other departments.

In addition, this position will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries as dictated by department needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Management

o Responsible for all aspects of accounting including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end close

o Ensure correct administration of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and all entries to the general ledger. Review entries and documentation as required.

o Maintain consistent and well documented month end closing schedules. This role is responsible for timely preparation of accurate monthly financial statements.

o Support Treasury function, including cash management and forecasting.

o Support the annual insurance renewal with updated schedules required for the various lines of coverage.

Systems and Optimization



o Participates in continuous improvement of internal controls and oversight of financial systems.

o Optimize resources to deliver the highest quality services while continually improving to achieve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness. Identify and drive process improvements, whenever possible.

o Oversee periodic accounting system upgrades and training, chart of account and cost center maintenance, month and year-end closing.

Reporting and Analysis

o Perform financial analysis

o Provide financial information that is useful to management

o Performance of operational audits of internal controls

o Financial analysis as required

o Compile data and convert into useful information

Requirements:

Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting. CPA is a plus

6 plus years’ in general accounting experience

Experience in corporate and non-for-profit accounting utilizing best practices and
sophisticated financial systems required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).

Must be comfortable working in a fast paced and sometimes intense work environment
