Six Sigma Process Engineer : $70,000 90,000 DOQ

Minneapolis, MN

Full time Hire: $70,000 - $90,000 range DOQ

Our direct and long-term client is looking to add a 2+ year experienced Six Sigma resource to their Process Improvement Division.

Ideally looking for an "up and comer who wants a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on, national, highly visible ownership over various projects, initiatives!

1+ year of corporate experience utilizing process improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, labor standards, statistics, etc.

Bachelor degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Process engineering is ideal but not required

Certified in Six Sigma, Lean is ideal

Master Black Belt is nice to have

Must have ability to travel nationally 50% of time


Can actually sit in multiple locations if need be Minneapolis being highly preferred

Lead Six sigma (DMAIC) projects to improve field and corporate processes.

The Industrial/process Engineer may also manage a variety of projects including, but not limited to supply chain analysis and design, process improvement, and implementation of material handling systems and technology changes to drive operational excellence

The Industrial/process Engineer will play a key role in driving improved productivity and cost effectiveness by recommending and implementing changes to improve the performance of systems and people, increase utilization of labor and other resources while maintaining or improving safety, quality and customer service.

Exposure with logistics/ distribution/ warehouse operations is nice to have

Knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators

Experience in manufacturing workstation design, Testing and inspection methods,

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, distribution networks, logistics, layout designs, automation of material handling etc…

Develops processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.

Lead (co-lead) Six sigma (DMAIC) projects to improve field and corporate processes.

Lead (co-lead) kaizen events to implement process changes.
