We are looking for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will have responsibilities to coordinate and assist the Controller with Annual Audit, Monthly Draw and Payroll. Specifically, duties of the Senior Accountant will include the following: Responsibilities: Prepare financial modeling and forecasting in support of the business Analyze financial data as needed to achieve operational goals Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries Support the cash management process Assist with the month and quarter end closing processes Assist with providing financial information and documentation for internal and external audit purposes Assist with regulatory filings Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the accounting team Provide backup assistance and guidance for all other team roles: Accounts Payable / Staff Accountant Perform other ad hoc analysis, reporting and project support as needed Other related duties not specifically noted Qualifications: Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, including the ability to think critically and present new or creative solutions Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Excel; competency in building and using complex excel-based analytical models Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting 4+ years of accounting experience preferred Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
