Help Desk Coordinator

Minneapolis, MN

6 month contract-to-hire OR Permanent hire ( $45,000 - $58,000 conversion salary range DOQ )

Large, professional, global organization recently acquired a company in Minneapolis.

This is a 50 employee office that is looking for an IT Support / Help Desk Coordinator to be the sole IT Representative onsite.

This Help Desk Coordinator will be in constant contact with other team members and management across the country.

Must be reliable, dependable and mature ! Since this is the only IT representative onsite locally, they need to be accessible, onsite, resourceful, solution-driven, collaborative and mesh well with the office!

This resource will support ALL technical functions within the office: PCs, laptops, mobile devices, Audio/Video, video conferencing, printers, deployments, HW/SW Support, asset management, etc.

GREAT OPPORTUNTY to be the "Go to”, get hands on with a wide tech stack and grow! This office is expected to rise to 70-80 employees next year!

Must have 2+ years of professional Help Desk, IT Service Desk type experience

Must have a mix of Mac and PC Support experience

Take ownership from start to finish of the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of hardware and software problems on computer systems and other supported hardware (mobile devices, phones, voicemail, projectors, etc.)

Perform consistent follow-up with user to ensure complete resolution and user satisfaction

Build and deploy standard notebook and desktop computers

Use Active Directory to create and manage user accounts and set permissions

Bachelor's degree, Associates degree or equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience
