TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

DALLAS, TX

FULL TIME POSITION - $40K-$48K/YEAR

POSITION:

ICS is working with a client to hire a Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team in Dallas, TX! This will be more of a hybrid position between Desktop Support and Field Engineer when traveling to set up A/V equipment and virtual networks for the team.

The travel will be every 6-8 weeks; both domestic and international.

You will be part of a well-tenured team and have the opportunity to work team members across all departments and levels within the organization. The ideal candidate will be someone who is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; as well as experience in a client-facing role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Desk-side support of end user issues, such as:

New user and equipment deployment

Internal application troubleshooting

Ticket management

Proactive documentation of technical procedures

Maintain printer fleet needs

Ensure a timely response to ticketing needs

Ensure proper notes and documentation of all assigned tasks

Cross train with other technicians. Must be able to work in a team-player environment.

Must be able to work significant overtime while travelling up to 25-45% of the time

Set up all necessary A/V equipment and virtual networks for the teams as needed

Other duties may be assigned

Be responsible for being on-call one week per month

REQUIREMENTS:

High School degree required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred

2+ years of Enterprise Desktop Support experience

A+ and Network+ Certifications preferred

Proficiency in Windows 7, Windows 10, Client laptops and desktops, Mac OS X, Citrix
Client, Cisco VPN Client

Experience with A/V systems, mixers, etc.

Experience with desktop imaging practices
