Job Description Summary:
The Risk Data Analyst will assist the Operational Risk team to deliver robust analytics.
The individual is expected to:
Compile and communicate the monthly transaction loss results and drivers to partners in Finance, Accounting and Risk teams Execute monthly transaction loss forecasts based on transaction loss data using financial models Develop best practice forecasting models for loss provisioning Review financial model performance and implement enhancement where necessary Work with Controllership and Finance teams to successfully manage the internal and external audit review.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s in Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Information Systems or closely related quantitative discipline
5+ years of post-college working experience within a Quantitative Research, Statistical
Modeling, Data Analytics or FP&A focus
Creative problem solver, analytic thinker, and ability to learn new and complex concepts quickly
Required technical skills:
Financial Modeling, MS Excel (with VBA), SQL and SAS/R Programming Working knowledge of SAP, Tableau, Credit/Transaction Loss Provision
