HRIS Analyst

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Manager of HR Systems, will work directly with Human Resources, Benefits and Compensation & Performance managers and users, as well as global administrators, to support the HR systems within the firm.

This individual will work with the IS department staff to provide support for HR staff and other users on all the integration points between core systems and HR applications.

The primary focus of this position will be with the support of Workday HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits and Recruiting functionality.

Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential functions:

Maintain and provide front line support for the existing Workday application.

Consult and answer Workday reporting and inquiry related questions.

Configure changes in Workday Business Processes, security and workflow based on business requirements.

Provide support for the Firm's LMS (Cornerstone OnDemand).

Review, test and coordinate admin user testing of bi-annual Workday releases and other
system releases or patches; participate in regression testing for new system features.

Support users in data entry activities, reviews work and advises of errors.

Responds to requests for reports containing HR data from across and the organization in an accurate and timely manner.

Support global HRIS projects and initiatives.

Assist in integration HR Applications with Payroll and the firm's other core applications.

Develop and enhance the HR applications as directed by the Manager of HR Systems.

Work on various projects as assigned by the Manager of HR Systems.

Develop and deliver training materials and courses for Workday based applications for
HR/Administrative Users.

Any additional requirements as needed by management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

2+ years of experience working with Workday or similar cloud-based HRIS required, HCM preferred.

Report writer experience in Workday

Experience with XML standards and in their application (for example, XML Schema, XSLT,
STX, DOM, SAX, and similar technologies) a plus.

Relational or SQL database experience, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, a plus.

Experience working with a LMS, Cornerstone OnDemand is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with
staff of varying technical expertise.

Self-motivated person with excellent time management skills.

Strong attention to detail. Achieves thoroughness and accuracy through a focus on all
areas involved.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate results.

Ability to troubleshoot complicated programs.

Previous law firm experience a plus.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in MIS or Business preferred.
