Searching for a Senior IT Auditor who has experience evaluating risk in enterprise organizations, and performing corporate IT and integrated audit projects following SOX compliance. If you are a driven and enjoy working onsite with a team of internal auditors, this is the role for you!
Position Functions:
- Perform audit fieldwork, ultimately assisting in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, the efficiency of operations, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures relating to Oil & Gas industry laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development of enterprise-wide risk assessment and a comprehensive annual internal audit plan.
- Develop comprehensive risk-based internal audit programs, plan audits and fieldwork execution.
- Participate in reviews of internal controls and security of systems under development, including major IT projects and initiatives.
- Recommend improvements that add value to risk management, internal control, governance and technology processes, communicating control findings to process owners/audit clients.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Completed Bachelor's Degree in CS, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 5+ years as a lead or mentor of an IT audit team in public accounting or public organizations, including extensive exposure to advanced information system audit techniques.
- Experience auditing network security, technology infrastructure, SIEM/IDS, software development and disaster recovery planning following SOX 404 compliance requirements.
- Recent experience evaluating risks and controls within operations processes in an integrated audit and/or operational audit role or capacity - preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Understanding of concepts related to IT Audit, including security and control risks:
—Logical and physical access security
—Change management
—Cybersecurity
—Network Infrastructure and other related technologies
—Disaster Recovery Planning
- Exposure to COSO and COBIT principles
- Certification Highly Preferred: CISA, CIA, or other tech-related certs such as CNE or CSP
