Infinity Consulting Solutions (ICS) is currently seeking talented Java/J2EE developers for multiple contract-to-hire openings with one of our clients in the Chicago area.

Description:

We are looking for a Java Developer to provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications to support our growing business.
Utilize mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.

Work across multiple scrum teams to design and develop Java User Interfaces and services across a wide range of back office applications including; New Accounts, Payments, Fraud and Account Reconciliation. Will be required to provide technical expertise and oversight on multiple mission critical, high-volumes, high-availability applications.

The person will also be expected to drive data consistency and integrity across other application across multiple teams. Proactively work with the development team efforts in building secure, scalable, robust high performance applications.

Develop utilities to manage client data in UAT and Production environments. Develop long term strategic plan for the applications supported.

Proficient in Java J2EE application development skills as well as multiple design techniques.

Working proficiency in Java J2EE development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve

software. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks. Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development,

application resiliency and security. Proficiency in one or more general purpose

programming languages. Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including

business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of

software.

Required Experience:

Application Developer with emphasis on Java, J2EE and related UI, Java, Core Spring, J2EE, Web-Services, Junit and JDBC

- experience of PL/SQL, Stored Procedure, Triggers

Experience in JavaScript skills and programming experience in several front technologies including: Bootstrap, HTML/HTML5,

- Experience working within the principles of the Agile Methodology

- Experience working in Architecture Design patterns, Cloud technology, BigData and Open source libraries

- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic

- Extensive knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment and ability to work as a team player

- Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation with application impacts

- Delivering a complete front end application and Knowledge of software design paradigms and techniques

- Ensuring high performance GUIs, services and database designs

- Extensive experience on UX Design for Web and Mobile application

- Communicating and ability to write web services and RESTful API

- Excellent Knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based on work experience

- Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments

- Ability to mentor junior members of the team

- Experience of NodeJS is a plus
