DevOps Engineer
Our client is seeking a DevOps person for their growing product engineering team in the suburbs.
Exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing software solutions offering and make a difference.
Responsibilities
Works with Engineering team and product to deploy and operate our systems in cloud infrastructure environment.
Responsible for system availability and performance 24/7. Along with systems security and PHI protection.
Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments
Design and develop tools to allow teams to add and remove services for customers, customize software, and troubleshoot without access to the operating system and the cloud infrastructure
Assist with the product implementations, design reviews, estimation, testing etc
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering-related field or related devops
Strong background in Linux/Unix and Windows Administration
Strong experience with cloud hosting solutions including AWS along with open source technologies
Working understanding of code and script such as PHP, Python, Java, Perl, Ruby
Strong experience with SQL and Postgres
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
Experience in a Regulated Industry preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
