Client Service Support Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

:

Our Client is an Growing managed service provider, that is looking for Technical Support Engineer to work on-site for one of their clients.

The successful candidate will be providing NY based users with level 1 and 2 technical supports.

Providing superior customer service and following company's policies in tracking and reporting on support incidents are two of the main functions of this position.

The position will be involved in providing projects support and execution as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Responds to customer calls and requests promptly

Resolve clients' computer problems in person, over the phone, or via any other medium

Configuration of client's equipment to connect to corporate network and domains

Maintains client machine configurations

Configure software to connect to Internet application servers.

Follow and enforce IT, Security and acceptable use parties

Provide training to clients in the use of system and applications when needed

Perform creation of new accounts using company provide software tools.

Logs all support activities in Service Desk software

Escalate issue to network admins when unable to provide resolution as per company Service
Level Agreement

Follow company's policies and procedures

Participate in IT projects for network changes and introduction of new services

Provide weekly reports to manager

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
:

Associate degree in computer related field or equivalent in experience

Client system Microsoft certification

4 to 7 years of experience

PERSONAL ABILITIES:

Commitment to excellence in and the ability to work in a team environment.

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work under pressure

Must be able to work outside normal business hours in order to perform diagnosis and/or implementation of product releases or changes, so that normal workflow is not
interrupted.

Dell hardware (laptops and desktops)

Some Windows Server 2010 experience

Solid understanding of networking concepts such as DNS/ DHCP/

AppleAndroid devices

Network printing

Working knowledge of Active Directory

OCS/ Lync 2007/2010

Nice to Have

Cisco CM

Project management experience

Social Media experience
