Job Description
This role will assist in the general oversight of the following areas: general ledger, internal audit, income tax and production of periodic reports to management.
Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining general ledgers for clients
Responsible for financial reporting to management and clients
Assist with Internal Audit function for clients
Travel to various locations as part of the internal audit function
Assist with tax preparation of client returns
Assist with other projects as needed
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance; CPA highly desired; plus 3-5 years of experience preferably within a public accounting firm.
Exceptionally strong computer literacy in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
Project, etc.); JD Edwards is a plus
Strong attention to detail and timelines
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present audit findings in a clear and thoughtful manner to all levels of the organization
Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations regarding financial analysis
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
