MARKETING ANALYTICS SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Dallas/Carrollton, TX

Direct Hire: Base + Bonus

We are hiring a Senior Marketing Analytics Associate to join our client's Decision Science team here in Dallas! This is a highly visible position within the organization and will be responsible for preparing and presenting dashboards and reports for sales performance and KPI's.

As the Senior Marketing Analytics Associate, you'll compile product and market data to tell a story and ultimately influence where strategic marketing dollars are spent across the global enterprise.

What You'll Do:

Develop a strong understanding of our internal data structure and sources.

Utilize multiple systems and platforms to create and maintain databases to be used in reporting, analysis and modeling.

Prepare ad-hoc reports of sales in marketing dashboards that visualize key performance indicators in clear concise summaries.

Analyze and interpret marketing metrics to identify cause and effect relationships between marketing actions and sales or financial outcomes, with an emphasis on direct response marketing analytics. This includes identifying trends, findings appropriate solutions and making the necessary recommendations to optimize sales and ROI.

Build statistical models that show seasonal trending, profitability regional performance training, lead projection forecasting etc. using existing company technology while integrating new data sets.

Analyze customer purchasing behavior patterns by creating cross-tabulations, customer clusters or segmentation, developing hypotheses and translating results into actionable recommendations for Marketing and business strategy keeping in mind larger business, market and competitive implications.

This may include evaluating demographics, prices, distribution channels, and existing or new marketing outlets.

Conduct competitive and industry in-depth analyses and create market models to maintain our competitive advantages.

Liaise with other departments such as Finance, IT, Supply Chain and Global Strategic
Marketing in Paris, to promote communication of company trends, ensure data accuracy and timeliness, and to collaborate in inter-departmental projects as needed.

Skills/Experience You'll Need:

Degree in Business, Marketing or Economics with a strong and proven qualitative and analytical background; or a degree in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering,
Management Science, Mathematics or Statistics with a strong background in business, strategy or marketing.

Graduate degree or MBA preferred but not required if applicant has strong work experience.

3 to 4 years of experience in market or quantitative analysis, which may include specific relevant academic projects.

Experience manipulating complex and large data sources.

Good knowledge of Statistics for Marketing or Econometrics.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Intellectual curiosity to proactively and independently formulate hypotheses about the market and analyze data accordingly.

Strong project management, business writing, communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization.

Ability to work as a team member.

Strong computer skills, including business intelligence and reporting software.


This includes a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its statistical package, and Microsoft Access.

Knowledge of SQL Server, Tableau and SPSS or SAS would be a plus
