Cash Applications Specialist

Responsibilities
Apply payments from EFT/ACH accounts, wire transfers and manual payments
Utilize multiple ERP systems, as well as knowledge of Excel, to properly apply payments and run applicable reports
Prepare journal entries, process CC/ACH payments, daily cash reporting
Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts
Analyze any account issues and discrepancies
Research discrepancies and reconcile vendor A/R statements
Work closely with project managers to ensure proper billing monthly
Provide support on billing inquiries and resolve issues with customers regarding payment
Collaborate with senior leadership to review and recommend improvement in workflow
Maintain proactive and adaptable demeanor in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in Cash Applications, Payment Posting, Accounts Receivable,
Accounting or related field
Experience with major ERP financial software
Proficiency in Excel and a major ERP system
Strong organizational and communication skills
High sense of urgency and desire to work in multi-role environment
