Senior Cloud Engineer

Are you a Cloud Engineer with aspirations of becoming an SME/Architect? Do you have experience collaborating to set the organizational vision for cloud infrastructure, as well as providing insight into cloud solutions and operational objectives? This may be the role for you!

Job Functions:

- Consult with clients on cloud technologies including IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, cloud management tools, and converged infrastructure.

- Design technical cloud solutions that meet customer needs for scalability, reliability and performance.

- Identify new cloud technologies and platforms to help solve technical challenges or limitations in the existing infrastructure.

- Provide support to technical sales team.

- Work cross-functionally with an established team of SMEs, change managers, integration engineers, and business analysts, working toward discovery and assessment of current environment to architect business-enabling cloud-solutions for clients.

Required Experience:

- CIS Degree or relatable area of study

- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with a full range of cloud service providers and solutions, inclusive of AWS and Azure offerings.

- AWS certification highly preferred.

- Proven success consulting on cloud solutions with organizational decision makers.

- Demonstrated experience automating production cloud workloads.

- Strong Scripting Skills (a mix of: Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, Powershell, etc.)

- Agile and strong understanding of SOA/REST.
