SENIOR DATA ENGINEER
6+ MONTH CONTRACT
PLANO, TX
POSITION:
ICS is looking for a Senior Data Engineer, with experience in Java and Kafka, to join our growing Fintech client's team in Plano, TX! This is an enterprise-level project where you will help with migrating existing applications off of Informatica and building new services using Java and Kafka.
Our client is looking for someone who has had similar experience and can take ownership of this critical project!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design, create and support software application using Informatica PowerCenter / Java on an Oracle database.
Interface with the user community to capture business ask, provide technical recommendations and build software solution.
Actively contribute during multiple SDLC phases starting from project initiation to production continuity support
REQUIREMENTS:
Expert in Core Java and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across
Banking
Experience with the following technologies: Control-M, UNIX, Cassandra, Spring, Spring boot, Python, Tomcat, Possibly Apache Nifi, Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle, PL/SQL,
Unix, Control-M, BigData, JEE Stack
Agile Scrum methodology and framework
Good communication skills and ability to interface with multiple stakeholders
