Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

Maintain the employee database:

Input new hires, terminations, and all other employee changes including but not limited to off cycle promotions, salary increases, transfers, name and status changes, and employee demographics

Conduct background checks on applicants being considered for employment.

Make arrangements for employee onboarding.

Conduct orientation for new hires:

Update the IT Systems department on new hires, terminations, transfers, status and name changes.

Manage the Vendor Onboarding process.

Additional Responsibilities:

Maintain an adequate amount of supplies for the department.

Process department invoices for payment.

Prepare unemployment letters, verification letters, and any necessary letters or memos needed.

Answer SVP phone line and take messages.

Verify employment of current and past employees as required.

Provides support for events such as job fairs and recruitment events.

Perform clerical functions and any other related duties assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of the HR files and related employee records.

Must be detail oriented with strong multi-tasking skills.

Proven ability to work well as an individual and as a team member.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Working knowledge of HRIS system, preferably with ADP or any other well-known HR software.
