Job Description

Our client is looking for a Compliance Associate – Integrated Solutions.

The Compliance Associate is responsible to assist the Compliance Director to minimize and prevent losses resulting from high risk and fraudulent accounts and monetary or non-monetary activity.

The Compliance Associate will work under minimum supervision and provide support of the Compliance framework that is developed to address all essential compliance activities for all Partner or Client relationships.

The key responsibilities will include analysis of the partnership and solution and all related activities. In accordance with departmental and corporate procedures as well as applicable regulations, the Compliance Associate will take proactive measures to prevent losses as well as to keep reputational risk to a minimum.

In executing their duties, the Compliance Associate should act as a Brand Ambassador, to act in a way that promotes Vision of a trusted business partner.

Responsibilities

General

Execute directives and investigate adhoc issues from the Compliance Director –, Global Compliance Officer or Chief Risk Officer.

Responsible for providing compliance support for all Integrated Solutions activities

Key support role in the successful execution of the Company's compliance regime for strategy.

Administer the relevant compliance and regulatory obligations of for the program

Maintain current knowledge of relevant global and local government regulatory and corporate governance standards.

Regulatory

Central point of contact for managing all KYC/AML due diligence processes to onboard a new Partner and/or Clients.

Responsible for requesting and obtaining Partner or Client documentation to ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.

Liaise with the Regional Compliance teams in each region to ensure that jurisdictional obligations for new Partnerships will be met.

Review the Due Diligence Summary Report prepared by the Regional Compliance Analyst and coordinate any outstanding items with Payment Solutions team and/or Partner/Client

Analyze Partner enhanced due diligence documentation and update a Due Diligence Summary with findings.

Conduct the periodic account review process as instructed by the Compliance Director.

Implement, maintain and perform testing on company Key Performance and Risk Indicators and update as necessary.

Support

Assist in identifying client-related trends, typologies and issues associated with money laundering, terrorist financing, and other suspicious transactions.

Perform testing for upcoming engagements, incorporate new or revised procedures for
Regional Compliance teams.

Work directly with Regional Compliance team members when engagements are being implemented.

Assist in coordination and preparedness for agency and state exams and independent reviews.

Under the direction of the Compliance Director, deliver professional communication to
Payment Solutions Business teams regarding Partnerships and Solutions.

Authority

Participate in activities during the absence of Compliance Director

Authority to communicate directly with Payment Solutions teams, Regional Compliance teams and Partners and Clients for engagements.

Accountability

Reports to the Compliance Director – Integrated Solutions and is part of the region's Compliance team.


Qualifications and Experience

3-5 years of relevant experience in financial industry compliance experience;

Interest and willingness to develop expertise in legal, regulatory and compliance issues in the financial services industry;

A self-starter and master of time management, consistently sustaining high levels of productivity and quality in a fast paced high volume environment;

Clearly document and support judgments, decisions and rationale, which will necessitate strong writing skills and the ability to maintain files and records in accordance with
department standards;

Demonstrate sound judgment and decision making in the context of regulatory requirements, Company policies, and industry best practices;

Apply project management and organization skills to a variety of tasks; demonstrating flexibility and problem solving skills;

Good communication skills, strong written communication and critical thinking skills;

A self-motivated team player, a tactful negotiator with strong people and process management skills;

Strong organization and prioritizing skills with the ability to quickly react to ever-changing business needs;

Ability to learn and use a variety of systems and technology;

Constantly curious, seeks and implements new solutions, Client workflows; and

Operates in a high stress regulatory environment, with constantly changing expectations and close regulatory and audit scrutiny.

Preferred Skills

Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

Certified as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist by ACAMS or equivalent AML
certification/license.
