TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST
12-MONTH CONTRACT
LEWISVILLE, TX
POSITION:
ICS is looking for Technical Business Analysts, who are experts in either Windows or Linux environments, for our growing Fintech client in Lewisville, TX! The ideal candidate will possess a programming background and a drive to improve production operations through automation.
The workload for the position will comprise of infrastructure operations and software development.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, enterprise environment then this could be the role for you! In the role of a technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Understanding the role and being a transformation / migration owner
Engaging with the engineering and product teams
General UNIX / Linux systems administration, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring maximum availability.
Develop software to automate operational processes along with coding for the shared engineering deliverables
Deploy, upgrade, configure and maintain an automation platform
Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise in production.
Write and maintain bash or python automation scripts.
Work directly with the line of business Center of Excellence to cross train business aligned SME's who will help with analysis, communication, scheduling and migration efforts
Develop Agile Product Backlog items for presentation to development teams and business owners including appropriate assumptions, acceptance criteria, user details, and non-functional requirements
Understanding what the business does and how it is accomplished and key process dependencies that may exist
Analyze business functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows
Assist in identifying scope of work
Elicit requirements and document in either a Business Requirements Document format or, as Agile Backlog Items
Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience; communication of business information to a technical audience
Coordinate testing efforts with Quality Assurance
Collaborate cross functionality with infrastructure developers, support teams, and other software engineering teams
Working with a team of software engineers and infrastructure developers to deliver automation frameworks that will be adopted by all technologists
