Job Description

Infinity Consulting Solutions (ICS) is currently seeking a talented ETL Developer for a contract to hire opportunity with one of our clients in the Wilmington DE area.

Description:

Proficient in Ab Initio application development skills as well as multiple design techniques.

Working proficiency in Ab Initio development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks.

Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test

Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security.

Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages.

Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of software.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of Application Development work experience

• 3+ experience working in a Data Warehouse environment (or equivalent)

• 3+ years of experience working with ETL Tools (Ab Initio, Informatica, or Talend) Ab Initio is preference

• 3+ years of experience in analyzing complex processes and systems

• 3+ years of experience in writing and interpreting SQL

• 3+ years of experience documenting business requirements, functional specifications and test plans

• Ability to work well in a team oriented, agile environment

• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop/HIVE/Hbase/Impala

• Experience/understanding of business process re-engineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis

• Strong analytical and communication skills (written and verbal) with an eagerness to learn new technologies

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
