Release Engineer

We are seeking a release engineer to join a team responsible for managing source code, building and releasing applications, and developing and implementing software delivery processes.
S/he will work closely with application developers, quality assurance engineers, support engineers, infrastructure team members, and project managers.
The candidate will help establish and implement efficient procedures to streamline the software development process – using automation wherever possible.
Speed, reliability, and transparency are the main drivers. To this end, it is vital that the candidate possess strong problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
Strong cross-platform scripting skills (Python preferred)
Ability to operate comfortably in a cross-platform environment (Windows, Linux)
Must be well organized and attentive to detail
Must be an effective communicator
Preferred Characteristics
Knowledge of Java build automation with Gradle, ANT, or Maven
Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery platforms (Jenkins preferred)
Experience using version control systems
