Job Description

DEVOPS ENGINEER

Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join an established and growing financial services organization.

The DevOps Engineer will be an integral part of the company's infrastructure, DevOps and system support areas and will work closely with the DevOps Manager to ensure system performance, quality and software delivery standards.

The ideal candidate will have good experience within a Windows environment, CI/CD experience and strong configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.).

Excellent communication skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver high-quality production-grade SaaS solution quickly, frequently, and reliably

Ensure internal system and product uptime SLAs are met Lead company software security initiatives.

Coaching team members as well as being involved in the hiring process as the company continues to grow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS/BA in computer science, engineering or related discipline desired.

5+ years' experience in a Sr. Windows Engineer/DevOps Engineer role.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft development environment including but not limited to Dynamics CRM, Azure, SQL Server, Visual Studio.

Proficiency in Windows system administration, security, networking and web technologies.

Strong experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) is required.

Strong experience with configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.) is required.

Knowledge of provisioning, configuring, operating, and monitoring infrastructure and applications in both on-prem and cloud environments and automation.

Experience with deploying and administering monitoring and logging solutions, source control, automation, etc.

Experience using Microsoft TFS ALM system Experience with Agile SDLC

Knowledge of capacity planning, forecasting, and cost optimization in both on-prem and cloud-based environment.

Must have the desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality.
