Job Description

Proficient in Dev Ops Engineering skills as well as multiple design techniques

- Working proficiency in Dev Ops Engineering development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks

- Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security

- Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages

- Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of software

Expertise in application development, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

• Knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

• Good understanding of financial control and budget management

• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

• 1-2 years of current understanding of high-level enterprise architecture and software design

• Comfortable participating in an Agile software delivery methodology such as Scrum.

• Good understanding of DevOps, automation tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GIT, Kubernetes, Docker and others to work with a variety of projects.

• Hands on experience on a private cloud provider such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Public Cloud such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus for the role.

• College degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent is required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for the role.
