Senior UI/UX Developer
Edina, MN
Direct Hire- $100,000-130,000/year DOQ
A Twin Cities-based reinsurance company is seeking a Senior UI/UX developer to design and build new solutions and platforms across a variety of business functions.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or Engineering
7 years of professional information technology experience.
5+ years' experience doing UI/Front-end development.
Solid knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3 as well as building web applications using the latest standards-based and best practice approaches.
Experience with multiple frameworks and libraries such as Backbone.js, Marionette.js,
Ember.js, Angular.js, React, Handlebars, jQuery, Jasmine etc.
Experience with BDD, TDD, and JavaScript unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Mocha/Chai).
Strong knowledge of JavaScript design patterns.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideally experience with reinsurance or general understanding of Insurance principles and concepts
Ideally exposure to at least one of the major Catastrophe modelling systems from RMS, AIR or CoreLogic, although not essential
