Senior Business Analyst Fintech Client Florham Park, NJ 6+ month contract Business Analyst (BA) Identifies complete business processes to gain understanding of current state procedures (which is necessary prior to recommending changes related to implementing a new business solution), defines process documentation and material that will be used in improving processes and functions. Document those processes and connect with business teams to IAM information technology group. BA is responsible for analyzing and modeling existing business processes. Performs feasibility analysis, scopes projects, and works with the project management team to prioritizes deliverables, and negotiate on product functionalities. Creates detailed Business Requirement Document (BRD) and translate it into functional specifications. Develops logical data model and analyzes/documents the required data and information. Provides analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation. Partners with development and analytic teams to provide reporting on software solutions. Participates User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functionality Testing. Conduct workshops to collecting requirements and data from technology owners.
