SENIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER

6+ MONTH CONTRACT

DOWNTOWN FORT WORTH, TX

POSITION:

ICS is looking for a Senior BI Developer, who is a hands-on expert with SSIS in an enterprise environment, to join our client’s team in downtown Fort Worth! You will be responsible for building new application solutions to meet changing business needs. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a team player!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, and implement MS SQL Server SSIS ETL jobs to effectively process high-volume data sources and meet nightly processing windows.

Responsible for the development and management of Enterprise Data Warehouse processes and policies, following strategic direction on best practices for holistic Data Architecture.

Conduct analysis and design of data models for the development and maintenance of existing Enterprise systems.

Monitors industry trends and directions and develops and presents substantive technical recommendations to senior management.

Work with users to define, implement and automate data warehouse requirements based on Microsoft SQL BI Stack

Build data structures, functions and views for source data integration, data management, and consumption by other systems

Ability to communicate data modeling and process flow concepts, while tailoring solutions to business requirements

Ability to interpret business logic and develop appropriate data-flows and data dependencies

Understand and design system integration as required for extracting data for reporting purposes

Ability to work with and communicate with a team of Developers/Analysts and non-technical Business Stakeholders

Troubleshoot and resolve daily data warehouse automation issues

REQUIREMENTS:

Mastery of SSIS with hands-on experience implementing Best Practices

Experience with principles of Data Warehousing, and able to prepare technical
documentation

Knowledge of Architecture, Infrastructure and Performance Tuning

Exposure to Large Databases (1 TB+) and heavy database loads

Knowledge of SSAS and other OLAP technologies

Knowledge of Dimensional Design Principles, such as Star and Snowflake Schema

Confident T-SQL Query skills, Able to Write Performant Queries for Fast Data Loads

Expertise in SSIS for Data Warehousing and Data Mining

Familiarity with C#, services architecture, REST/JSON, a PLUS
