Project Manager Cyber Security, NYDFS, CCPA

Madison, Wisconsin OR New York City, NY

6+ month contract

Our client is looking to add a Cyber Security Project Manager with expertise in NYDFS requirements and need to create new projects to meet new regulations from California (California Consumer Privacy Act -CCPA).

For NYDFS except 1 all the requirements are in BAU mode with multiple mitigation plans execution in progress.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead, organize, monitor and coordinate several project workstreams to successfully deliver a strategic program for cybersecurity.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent leadership skills and be able to liaise with external and internal stakeholders on all levels.

Previous experience in the execution and leadership of programs is a must.

The candidate must be able to manage staff of different disciplines with and without direct authority to produce results in a timely manner and be able to manage complex tasks and a high-volume of work.

The job will require to develop efficient strategies for a successful implementation and be able to handle a high-volume of work and tight deadlines.

Proven Project / Program Management background in Cyber Security initiatives revolving NYDFS and CCPA and Data Loss Prevention ( DLP )

Tools: MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, etc.

Proven experience working with dispersed teams nationally and globally

Excellent communication skills

Ability to travel ( under 20% ) if needed
