Job Description

Mid-Level Developer

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for contributing to design, development, testing, deployment and support of enterprise applications.

Follows development processes and procedures.

Responsible for timely completion of the development phase of projects.

Responsible for contributing to technical design specifications and technical design reviews.

Supports fellow developers through knowledge sharing, constructive feedback and peer code reviews.

Supports, Communicates and works as a team with UX/QA/PM/Infrastructure.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

5+ years experience as a .NET developer

3+ years Saas and web app development experience

Solid knowledge of .NET Framework, MVC 4, HTML, JQuery, CSS, SQL, C#, Github, VSTS

Understanding of the HTTP request/response cycle

AngularJS, Knockout.JS, JavaScript, HTML 5

Demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of iterative software development

Knowledge of development processes and methodologies in addition to Agile and leverage these techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise

Value the commitments to delivery made by a development team and understand the technical requirements to meet these commitments

Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics

Proven use of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition

Deep understanding of common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and improvements to development practices

Consultancy experience a plus.

A knowledge of programming best practices (security, optimization, clean code, commented code, etc.)
