Job Description

Infinity Consulting Solutions is searching for a Quality Assurance Analyst to work with a large financial company in downtown Wilmington, DE.

The QA Analyst works in conjunction with the Business Analysis and Development teams to ensure that applications meet requirements and are of high quality.

You will be responsible for ALM/UFT testing of data migration and management. This includes any changes / enhancements or new processes being deployed.

Job Responsibilities:

Minimum of three years of relevant IT/Quality assurance work experience testing Web-based applications

A technical 4-year degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering or equivalent is recommended but can be substituted for substantial test engineering experience

Must demonstrate strong time management skills, ability to multi-task & handle multiple test assignments & prioritize one’s own work

Must have excellent verbal and written skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level

Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test case identification

Excellent work ethic

Strong experience working with large scale consumer web/mobile-based applications

Ability to execute test cases and document results

Ability to write and execute basic SQL statements

Experience in web services testing preferred

Experience working with ALM and JIRA preferred

Role should include as its primary duty either—


(a) The exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.

(b) Design work (Design means a tailored design in order to meet a specific client request) or

(c) Programming (Programming means writing original programs using computer code that is intended for use on a wide scale basis. Writing test scripts used in troubleshooting problems would generally not be considered "programming unless the script is intended to be used as a script for use on a repetitive basis for troubleshooting (i.e. when other users call, the test script is used for the purposes of troubleshooting their issue).
