Job Description:
The engineer will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing software solutions in an Agile software development lifecycle.
As a member of the Site Reliability Engineering team, they will deliver automation solutions on the to assure system stability, code reliability, and deployment predictability along the SDLC. Work at an global financial services company on a cutting edge and newly formed team!
Skills:
3-5 Years' Experience in Java
Some experience in Python
3 Years' Experience working in a Linux/AIX environment, including working within the
BASH/KSH shell
Experience with PowerShell is a plus
Experience with developing software using .NET technologies is a plus
Additional Skills (Qualifications):
The engineer should be a self-starter with an analytical mindset who can apply critical thinking skills to challenging problems
The engineer should have the ability to write efficient, clean code and create appropriate documentation
The engineer should possess good communication skills
Experience in DevOps role is a plus
