Technical Skills

Knowledge of Layer 2/3 VLAN configuration and trouble shooting, Port-channel and Ether-channel configurations, Cisco routing and switching experience, firewall consideration

Must have expert knowledge of Enterprise Local/Wide Area and wireless networking industry experience

Protocols: TCP/IP, VOIP, MPLS.

One or more of the following certifications is beneficial: CCNA, CCNP or CCDA.

Perform trouble shooting of networks, monitor networks and investigate performance problems, and documentation of problems and resolutions.

Education Requirements

Bachelor degree in related discipline

Number of Years Experience

2+ years' experience Networking Security, Network Engineering and/or System Engineering; specifically supporting complex networks with Microsoft servers, Cisco firewalls, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, Active Directory, MS Exchange, DNS services, spam filters/anti-virus, VPN management, WSUS, and Blackberry Server.

Must have expert knowledge of Enterprise Local/Wide Area and wireless networking industry experience.

1+ years' experience supporting enterprise class applications in production environments.
