Job Description
Infinity Consulting Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant professional for a $150M client in Downtown Miami.

The Senior Accountant will work directly with a team of accounts and led by a Controller and CFO.

Senior Accountant
Directly support financial month-end close as part of the Americas Region
Provide support to North America, Central America, and Latin America countries, including: financial close & reporting, cash flow forecasting, and all regulatory & compliance matters
Provide guidance and analysis of current & upcoming accounting regulations under IFRS and
US GAAP in working with Controller / Director of Finance, as needed
Support quarter-end close for the Americas region to our parent company by providing formal responses to Q&A, along with ad hoc financial analysis
Analyse and suggest areas for improvement in financial processes & systems in accordance with internal control policies
Directly supports Controller / Director of Finance with all finance related projects
From time to time, be able to present clear & thorough explanations on complex matters regarding projects and/or financial results to Controller / Director of Finance
Responsible for following all accounting procedures
Provides guidance & support for all other members of the finance department staff

Qualifications

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is required
4+ years' experience in an accounting department with a proven track record of success
Strong technical and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Project and other finance software
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work as necessary to meet key deadlines
Fluency in English / Spanish a must
Preferred
International accounting/finance experience in a multinational corporation
Experience with Great Plains or other large multinational ERP system
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Progression toward CPA license is preferred
Fluency in Portuguese would be a plus.
