JAVA J2EE DEVELOPER
12+ MONTH CONTRACT
PLANO, TX
POSITION:
ICS is looking for a Java J2EE Developer, with hands-on development experience in building cloud native applications utilizing Spring Boot and Microservices, for our growing Fintech client in Plano, TX!
REQUIREMENTS:
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework, Unix, IntelliJ, Bitbucket, HTML, Angular JS,
Web Services and Oracle.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
Experience writing SQL scripts or PL/SQL, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and tables
Cultivate and introduce (where appropriate) Agile engineering practices including: Pair
Programming, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and Test Driven Development
Ability for the full delivery (designing, developing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting) of applications to satisfy business requirements
Nice to have experience with cloud, big data
Strong data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
Proficient interpersonal skills to be able to interface effectively with a broad range of
contacts; from technical staff to management
