Junior Automation QA – Selenium, Web/API Testing

Minneapolis, MN

$75,000 - $85,000 Range DOQ

Our direct client is looking to hire an Automation QA to join their Digital Innovation Division.

This Automation Test Engineer is a lower level resource Ideally looking for 1-3+ years of Automation experience within Web, SaaS, Cloud type product division.

This QA Resource will be testing internal/external facing products and applications including web applications, web services, and micro services.

Implementing automation using in-house tools and or stand-alone scripts and code

Testing APIs, Web applications and Application data in temporary and permanent data stores

Prior experience with Test data management

Proven experience in developing test scripts using C# or JavaScript

Scripting experience is ideal: Shell, Python, Groovy, etc.

Proven experience using Selenium

Experience testing distributed n-tier applications

Ability to write code for automation of test cases using Stand Alone scripts and web automation frameworks such as Selenium

Tech Stack:

Web Automation Frameworks: Selenium, SOAP UI, JMeter

Front End: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, HTTP, REST, MVC

Programming Languages: Ability to code expertly in JavaScript or C#

Build Tools: Jenkins, Grunt

Operating Systems: Familiar with command line tools on at least one of Windows (Power shell) or Linux (Shell scripting)

Source Control: Good knowledge of working with at least one Source control system - Git, Stash, SVN etc.
