Job Description

Software Engineer with Informix-4gl and .NET experience to join our technology team. NVR is pursuing a digital transformation modernizing existing applications and building enterprise solutions to meet business needs.

As a software engineer, you will support this transformation while working on current Informix-4gl projects as well as assist with .NET development extending the existing applications into a new modern platform.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for teamwork to build high performing, maintainable software along with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Primary Responsibilities

Translates business requirements into innovative, flexible, and secure software solutions

Develops and delivers maintainable, readable, performant code using Informix-4gl or C#

Performs code reviews

Collaborates with developers across teams ensuring project quality and delivery

Writes technical documentation for operational support

Qualifications

5+ years in software development

3+ years Informix-4gl software development experience

1+ years C#/.NET software development experience

Strong communication skills

Strong problem solving skills

Experience working in an agile development environment
