Infinity Consulting Solutions (ICS) is currently seeking a talented Database Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our clients in the Columbus, Ohio area.

Description:

Expert in in Database design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers).

Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset.

May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks.
Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill.

Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security.

Stays abreast of cutting edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business.

Required Skills:

Code, test, modify, debug, document, and implement SQL.

Code, test, modify, debug, document, and implement Stored Procedures (PL/SQL/TSQL)
Develop scripts to automate the execution of programs using shell scripts under Unix environment

Develop technical specification documents

Help develop test cases and plans to complete the unit testing and support System sting

Participate in design reviews / code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation.

Perform unit testing and participate integration testing and support defect remediation

Help develop code migration strategies from one environment to the other

Assume ownership and accountability for the assigned deliverables thru all phases of the development lifecycle

Agile Scrum experience

Proven track record of effective business partnership
