Job Description
Risk Assessment Consultant
Duration: 6 month
In response to the OCC Consent Order requirement and enhance the Branches' compliance risk assessment and risk appetite program, LCD Risk Assessment Team needs to hire one new consultant, to build compliance data mart and conduct data analysis on bank-wide customer, product and transaction data:
Acting as liaison for LCD and responsible for document business requirements, and work with IT development team to build compliance data repository, workflows, and other system solutions
Work with Business and IT to generate Business Requirement Documents (the data scope, criteria and specification) for the purpose of Risk Assessment
Cleaning extracted data so that it can be used for inherent risk assessment analysis.
Creating charts and graphs and apply data analysis using templates
Creating PowerPoint presentations
Calculating inherent risk scores and ratings and generate risk assessment reports following risk assessment methodology
Create documentation on the process used to generate new datasets and MIS reports
Conducting data analysis on large data sets such as customers and financial transactions
Requirement:
Bachelor's or above 4-6 years or more of experience as a Data Analyst or similar position
Must know SQL and had experience extracting data from relational databases using SQL query language
Proficient with MS Office, Advanced MS Excel and Access
Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills
Experience in Compliance is preferred but not required
Knowledge of Python a puss
Faster learner; curiosity about and passion for data; attention to detail and self-motivated
