Description: In this role you will provide business facing production support for in house and vendor applications used by our Futures Clearing businesses. You will also be responsible for maintaining our non-production environments for development and testing purposes. We need someone with strong problem-solving skills and experience working with business stakeholders that can enable deep analysis and fast issue resolution for time critical issues and requests. You will build on your experience for handling incidents and problems to ensure healthy and stable environments as well as proactively identifying areas for process improvement and automation. Your wide-reaching technical skills will prove useful when creating and troubleshooting various issues for our test environments. You will also need the following skills: experience of Operating Systems – competent with UNIX and Windows environments. experience writing SQL queries and interacting with databases capability to interpret Java/J2EE and UNIX/Shell Scripts for analysis is an advantage good knowledge of ITIL & Agile tools and processes (e.g. Remedy, JIRA, Confluence) for Incident/Change/Problem management good knowledge of health/alerting tools and tuning them to tighten environment control.
